Flowers make great gifts for St. Valentines day, birthdays, anniversaries, or Christmas whether from a local florist shop or one of the many online florists. You could buy a regular bunch of flowers such as a bouquet of roses, or tulips, but the floral bouquet you choose can be made even more personal if you select flowers traditionally associated with the month the recipient was born.

There is some variation on which flowers are associated with each month but listed below is the most often quoted flowers for each month by UK florists.
